Basic repair and modernization

The activity trends of «VAGONMASH» CJSC include the overhaul reconditioning (OR) of subway cars. OR and cars’ modernization is carried out for the following purposes:

• car’s service life extension; 

• trains safety movement improvement;

• occupancy increasing;

• achievement of modern level of comfort for locoman and passengers.

 OR is carried out on next directions:

• repair and/or equipment replacement (depending on technical condition): car truck, traction motors, compressor, automatic couplings, pneumatic, electric and train electronic equipment, etc.;

• modernization of car body and locoman’s cabin interior and exterior: installation of anti-vandal chairs, saloon finishing by fire-resistant materials, providing automatic fire-extinguisher system, additional noise insulation, and replacing of control panel in a locoman’s cabin, etc. 

In realizing OR at «VAGONMASH» CJSC only materials and equipment with certificate of conformance are applied.

Overhaul Reconditioning (OR) of cars is carried strictly in accordance with technical requirements and design scheme which were previously agreed upon with a customer.
