“VAGONMASH” CJSC manufactures the wide range of rail coaches and metro cars. In the last years, the plant has been working on developing and introducing to the market the brand new models of comfortable “economy” class rail coaches, designed with the application of the most up-to-date technologies and know-how in the world rail rolling stock production industry.  

The company also provides the variety of services in refurbishment and modernization of metro cars, spares supply, and maintenance for all rail coaches and metro cars we produce.

VAGONMASH was the first company in the CIS-countries to design and manufacture metro train with asynchronic traction drive. We sell our metro rolling stock products to the major state-owned companies operating underground railway systems in Russia, CIS-countries, and abroad.

We serve JSC "Russian Railways", municipal underground metropolitan railways, as well as independent operators-carriers.

Among Russian producers, PTMF is an absolute leader in developing the brand new models of tram cars. We have been “No. 1” in Russia to design and manufacture the first Russian six-axle car with low-floor area exceeding 60%, the first low-floor 8-axle one-way and double-way (shuttle) cars with asynchronous motor drive, as well as the first 4-axle car with 40% of low floor quantity.
